— Philip Joncas —

Phil was born in Lowell, MA and with the exception of a short stint in Alexandria, VA, spent most of his childhood there. He received a Bachelors Degree in Art with a concentration in Digital Media from Catholic University of America (CUA) in 2003.

From there he spent four years working in the Federal government as a graphic designer and Creative Web Director. He led the redesign of the Transportation Security Administration’s web site. Managing a $1M budget and content from 30 offices, Phil oversaw user research, designed the layout and managed the rewrite and site requirements. The site launched on time and on budget.

With a desire to study film, Phil returned to school at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington, DC and then the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where he completed a Post-Baccalaureate degree program in Film. He currently resides in Minneapolis.

Phil is also a hobbyist photographer and painter. You can view his personal artwork at www.pjoncas.com.
